Key Challenges
UniDEL Group has business interests in diverse areas of technology-related solutions. In addition, the Group caters to a large array of domains (Metal, Glass, Cement & Material Handling, Tyre & Rubber, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, etc). It was a challenge to communicate messages to a large set of target audience in a sophisticated style without losing the balance across different business activities and domains.
The corporate film required footage of various industrial plants and factories of the Group’s clients, many of which were not accessible due to security reasons. A hunt for stock shots of such plants and factories was required and more importantly it was essential to achieve a feel of a seamlessly stitched film without any jerks and / or change in style of shooting.
Some shots of the Group’s partners in UK and Germany were required. These were pulled out from the material that these partners had published earlier
The visual part of the film was a combination of live footage covered (across Mumbai, Hyderabad, Badrichinam, Bangalore and Chennai) stock shots procured, still pictures collected (from partners, clients and the internet), computer animation and special effects which required some significant tweaking on the editing table in order to ensure a consistent look & feel for the entire film of 13 minutes.
The total length of 13 minutes was too long for a corporate film with a highly technical subject but inevitable and therefore it was a challenge to make the film interesting enough for the audience to sit through the entire 13 minutes with due focus.
